What size hole needs to be created for my in-ground anchor system?

By Mega Slam Australia

Depending on your in-ground model, there are slightly different sized holes that need to be dug and filled with concrete. Refer to your manual.

Mega Slam 54 / Mega Slam 60: For these models to have maximum stability, we recommend digging an 450mm x 450mm square hole that’s 1200mm deep and belled out at the bottom. This will require 15 to 17 bags of concrete at 30kgs each.

Mega Slam 72 / Mega Slam XL: For these models to have maximum stability, we recommend digging a 500mm x 500mm square hole that is 1200mm deep and belled out at the bottom. This will require 20 to 22 bags of concrete at 30kgs each.

FX Pro / FX 72 / FX 60: For these models to have maximum stability, we recommend digging a 500mm x 500mm square hole that is 1200mm deep and belled out at the bottom. This will require 20 to 22 bags of concrete at 30kgs each.

For your safety, always call 1100 to avoid hitting any in-ground gas pipes or power lines.
